If i hook up my PC to my VGA HDTV connection to try and watch an HD video, will it truly playback in HD or not? - hdtv connections

If I connect my PC to my HD VGA port to try to watch high-definition video, is actually in HD or not to play?

Resoltions fully supports VGA HD - including 1080p. Most TVs will only accept up to 720p over VGA.

So yes, VGA is working correctly.

No, you can not have a true HD signal via a VGA connector. You can get a card with HDMI (which is by far the best is), or you can use S-video, but if you want a 5.1 surround sound with all HD comes, then you will need a sound card that supports that coaxial SPDIF digital output.
